Okay, okay.... I'm here.

I've actually been somewhat occupied since Ryan left (miss ya babe!). I've been calling hospitals and talking to nursing recruiters etc... about a job post-graduation in May. Interviews start Feb-March for some, so I'm trying to get with the program.

Side bar: writing resumes is yucky. As is answering questions about my professional goals and "values and beliefs about nursing"  I feel like everything is a "stock" response.

Getting ready to leave AGAIN. Not that I'm complaining.   We (parents and I) are heading off for one more fling before school starts again . "Kelly Jean, you're about to start your last semester of nursing school, what are you going to do now???" (said very dramatically)....   "I'm going to DISNEY WORLD!!!"    Yup. Definitely happy about that. I'm a Mickey addict

To be honest though, I'm a little freaked about this job search stuff... shortage shmortage.... L&D positions are hard to get! But as my mother always says... .. I know the One who's in control.

OOOOOHHHH!!! News!!  I broke down and got a haircut today!!   It's a short bob - all one layer - that just barely reaches down to my chin. It curls under perfectly (so far) and I'm completely in love!  I'm actually quite impressed - it turned out better than I was even hoping. Score one for mom. (she found the new hair cutting queen)

Ahh yes... I also was offered a part in a movie but unfortunately had to turn it down due to my busy schedule. (Okay, so it was Lindsey A. who asked and it was a short film for her youth group, but still......).

So. Tomorrow is off to the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum and then to tea (or lunch?) with some friends.

Nothing profound. Just Kelly ramblings....

So... seeing as how I finally have a chance to catch my breath, and at the great insistence of friends.... I have decided to get with the times and start my own Xanga site...

No guarantees regarding updates... but it is definitely more likely than e-mails.
